Cricut, SCAL and drawing on paper!?
I am thinking of getting the Cricut Expressions along wiht SCAL. I know you can obviously cut with SCAL, but can you also just use the Cricut drawing feature so you could draw a title on paper or an outline or figure on paper? Thanks!
Actually you can connect a SCAL to the cricut and connect a cricut to a computer through a simple cable. Thats what SCAL is all about - but that wasnt my question - but thank you!!! Hopefully someone can tell me about my question!

The cricut is limited by not being able to connect to a computer. You are limited to their cartridges. Search on line for a different cutter. I got one that hooks to my computer and I can draw and cut anything. Try Quickutz on ebay

Making Your Own Baby Banner
Babies are always a source of joy and happiness. And having another one in the family is sure fun and exciting. To make the welcome of the new baby more meaningful and memorable, a baby shower is organized. And in a friend’s case, he is welcoming his sister-in-laws’ baby - his niece!
You can create your own baby banner like what he did. All you need to do is to gather all the materials that you would need like cardboard coasters, adhesives, pencils, and scrapbook papers. You can also add decorations like ribbons, flowers, and rhinestones to the list. Cutting materials like scissors, and shape cutters are also included. For the adhesives, it depends on what you want to use so it can be glue, paste, or maybe even tape. There is no need to buy all the things that you will need. Try to scour your home and you will find most of the materials right there.
The next step in making a baby banner is to decide on the message that it will hold. For example, you can say “Welcome Baby” or “It’s a Baby Girl” or “It’s A Baby Boy”. When that is done, you can now proceed to trying to create a mental image of how you would want it to look like. Then start working on the size, the motif or maybe even the color of the banner. The color scheme can be dependent on the gender of the new baby. Pink usually means that it is a girl, while blue means that the baby is a boy. You can use other colors too if you do not want to stick to the usual. What is important is you use your creativity with this project.
You can now start cutting out the letters of the message. Go through your materials and choose which one will do well. And when that is done, stick them right on the coaster.
