I need some creative ideas for painting a room?

So I'm painting my room on saturday, and i'm gonna paint it purple.

Like that color but darker.

So it's gonna be purple, black and white. One wall, is a white "fabric" wall. So on the opposite wall, I want to paint somehting maybe flowers or something, but I dont' want it to look little kiddish...

What are some things that I could paint on that one wall? That doesn't look little kiddish?

Mulberry Paper Flower Holiday Centerpieces and Cards

A mulberry flower is a beautiful flower made from paper that is handmade from the bark of the mulberry tree. Men and women in South Africa spend days making this paper by hand.

The completed piece of mulberry paper is a piece of work all its own and the flowers that can be made with the paper are absolutely gorgeous! Mulberry paper is easy to work with and still allows the crafter to create not only paper flowers but any paper craft they choose.

Many people believe that because of the amount of time, effort and the mere fact that mulberry paper is made by hand that it is too expensive, that is incorrect. For the quality of a sheet of mulberry paper it is very affordable.

Let us look at some paper flower centerpieces you can make with mulberry paper.

A traditional holiday centerpiece can have any type of flower(s) you want in it.  You can also choose the colors of your flowers. Although if you have a specific color in the room you are going to decorate with the centerpiece it is sometimes smart to use a variety of shades of the main color. Some colors do not go very well together. So we recommend that you hold the pieces of mulberry paper next to one another and make sure you like the looks of the two or more colors together. Of course white with any color always works well.

A Christmas centerpiece can be made to add a festive touch to your home for any holiday, in addition to saving you money because there is no need to replace the centerpieces each year. If you like poinsettias and spend a lot of money on the plants every Christmas, you would be much better off to make poinsettias out of mulberry paper. Once Christmas has gone and it’s time to get rid of the flowers you can store them until next Christmas.

You can also make Christmas cards using mulberry paper. To make a mulberry paper Christmas card you will need cardstock, old Christmas cards with pictures on them, green and red glitter. To assemble the card use your ruler to measure the cardstock to the size you want, you can have a single card or a double card (one that folds in half.)

Cover the cardstock in mulberry paper using the clear drying glue to attach it. If you want to write a personal message be sure to leave a small section of the card blank. Then cut out the design from an old Christmas card and glue it to the front of the paper covered card stock. You can add a little glitter or a small bow if you like to give it a more festive look.

Mulberry paper flower Holiday centerpieces will look nice in your home do not be surprised if a few visitors ask you to make them a centerpiece. The Mulberry cards are also very unique and beautiful people will have a difficult time tossing them out after the holidays.
