How do you make plastic model kits look destroyed or crashed and smashed up?

I am a fan of building plastic model vehicles, like cars, trucks, and military craft. You remember these models as a kid - playing with the X-Acto knife and the dizzying model glue. I like to make models look as authentic as possible, but I would like to make some of them look crashed or junky...how would I go about doing this? How do you take a completed model and turn it into a junkyard creation?

Also, are there any websites or groups associated with this sort of thing? Basically, I want to destroy some finished models, but make it look like they were supposed to be built that way. Thanks for the help.

J/k. I have a few ideas.

heat (not with a flame) some no esental parts of the car (like maybe the hood) and warp it. Then, while it's still hot, bend it to a fassion so it looks like it has dents in it. Then, when painting, paint with a copper coating, and take a quater and vigeriousally flake most of it off, then apply a good color pant and do the same, but less rough.

All I can come up with, sorry.

A typical glass kit has the following contents: clear colored glass sheets, assorted colors of glass stringers, assorted colors of glass noodles, assorted colors of glass mosaic chunks, high temperature wire, cutting fluid, glass cutter, kiln wash, running pliers, and an instruction sheet.

Sparkling Glitters

You can actually make any objects sparkle to look more vibrant. With the use of glitter crystals, you can make ordinary things look more brilliant and livelier. The sparkling glitters usually have a set of 6 jars or a set of 2 jars. The set of six jars are 4 oz jar of the colors green, red, multi-color, blue, silver and gold. The set of 12 jars has 2 jars of ¾ oz per color. It has the same colors of the one in the set of 6 jars.

Mask Kits

This is another kit for making crafts. It is made specially for making masks. This is very popular for the African cultures. Their mask usual has the measurement of 11 inches by 15 inches.
